Seat identification help needed

Hi gang,

Another trip to local pnp yard yielded yet another treasure: a set of black 
cloth seats out of a rear ended '87 4kq in very good condition.  These 
seats are unusual in that the center panels have the "quattro" logo running 
diagonally across them.  Was this some type of special edition or 
option?  The cloth feels quite different from the light grey cloth normally 
used in Audis.
