Wow, that truly sucks.  You have my sincerest condolences especially on the
CBX(love that engine).

Have you contacted the cops?  The parents are responsible and you may have
grounds for a suit but it sounds like there's probably nothing there to get.
You should at least make the parent's lives miserable, especially the set
who were rude to you.
