         I try to avoid involvement in this thread, (since all of the 
"Torsen" posts go into the trash), BUT the point of posting publically is 
so that other listers see it, correct?

Now, working under that assumption:

         I know that I am a rather active, involved lister and I BARELY 
read even a tiny fraction of these foolish Torsen, pissing-contest 
threads.  So, if you figure that most listers are even less interested in 
these threads than myself, you can figure that this is just a humungous 
(relatively) waste of bandwidth.

Now, the proposal:

         Why don't the people who formed this odd, little Torsen thread 
just work on your own time and email by sending out private emails with 
full, very active CC lists....Just post to your own "list" and when sanity 
retakes all of your brains, post publically to the Quattro List.
