AFAIK, the following cars were imported to the USA in the period from 86-88:
5000s quattro(Non turbo)
5000CS quattro(turbo)
5000CS turbo(no quattro), available with a 5sp manual
5000S (no turbo, no quattro), available with a 5sp manual
5000CS (no turbo, no quattro, Commemorative Edition??)

All of the quattros were 5sp manual only, until, I believe 1989 or so.
