More Dash Lites

Thanks for all the suggestions.  License plate lites seems to be the top
choice.

However, last nite on the way home I was getting and loosing the dash
lites.  When at home in the driveway, with the dash lites off, I left
things running and went out to check the rear lites.  License plate
lites both on. Hitting and openning and shutting the hatch (this is a
wagon) did not make any difference to the dash lites being off...so no
loose connection there.

So my follow up is, if the license plate lites both are on and working,
and the dash lites still are off, what's the next thing to check?  Some
other lites cause the controller to turn off the dash lites?  Anyone
know where the feed for the dash lites comes into the dash and how to
access it?
