I just ordered a set of 195/65-15 91T Hakkapellitta eco studded 1's for
my Porsche 944. Not much driving will be necessary, because I work at my
home studio. However, I want the darn best grippers made. Milton,
Vermont is forecast for 118" of snow this winter, 300+ at Stowe only 25
min away. Plus my 200' dirt driveway is well, a little on the steep side
(and so are my neighborhood roads). Based on my previous Hakki 1 eco
studded experience on my 1989 200 quattro Avant (same size BTW), last
year in the New England ice storm and our nasty winters waaaay up here
in der frozen north --> there is no better tire.

Oh, FWIW, all the local VT rally gurus (John Buffum included on his
4KCSq) all run Hakkapellitta's in one form or another. It's really just
the tire of choice.
