Nothing needs to go over the plugs and all them reservoirs? Maybe I'll
take it to a steam-cleaner place.

Definitely. Nothing like 10 years of CRAP getting all over your hands and
arms (then subsequently your face, neck, and legs).
A file that big?
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.
