I've never used the Autobahn stuff, but I am familiar with the BMW stuff
from the motorcycle. I think that it is very similar to the P21S stuff, but
I can't say for sure. If you are looking for a good cheap alternative, I
heartily recommend the stuff called Oil Eater which I got from COSTCO. I
was amazed how quickly that stuff cut through a thick coating of CV grease
on the inside of the wheels, and it does do a good job of getting off the
brake dust as well. While I'm not sure that P21S would be recommended for
other apps, I also use Oil Eater as necessary to keep the engine compartment
clean. My '85 4kSQ had a pretty thick "protective coat" in there when I got
it, but a little Oil Eater and a spray hose made it look the way it should
...
