Need MAC-11 info...

I'm back from my trusty audi/vw yard emptyhanded.   Two turbo 5ks, neither w/ 
the MAC 11 that appears to be bad in mine.  Can anyone apprise me of my best 
course of action?  The car is an 87 5kt.  Auto.  Got it w/ no-start 
situation.  I'd like to get it running before the motor is moved to my 4kq.  
Is the MAC-11 thing only replaceable w/ the same (what's a MAC 10?)  Any good 
hopped-up ones I should consider?
