Sometimes I just do not believe it.....

Called in to Centurion Audi this morning to get a price check on an exchange
head for my Ur-q - prompted by Phil mentioning GBP375+vat. I got told
GBP625+vat but "We can't check with the Audi system on a Saturday". This is
it then, Audi don't tell their dealers of price changes _until_ the dealer
makes an enquiry. How many parts sales do they lose because the dealer's
price is out of date and they don't check the main system?

BTW, then the parts manager said "Oh we've got some of those other parts you
ordered, do you want to take them now?". Next joke - the invoicing system
will only allow 20 lines on an invoice and only eight print on each sheet, I
ended up with 3 invoices on a total of 7 sheets of paper. GBP348.74 for 120
parts alot of which the self-same parts manager had told me were
unobtainable a few months ago - strange what happens when they actually
order the things isn't it?

No sign of those horseshoe shaped cable clips or their replacement yet
though....
