Audi 90 starting probs.

I have a 1988 audi 90 (FWD). I am having one heck of a time starting
the car this fall. First thing in the morning when i try to start the
car i have to crank it a couple of times. It starts then it shuts right
off. Sometimes i have to hold my foot on the throttle so that it is
completely open, while i start it. it will run real low like 500 rpms,
then it will eventually build up in a couple of minutes. Once she is
running it idles real high, like about 2500rpm, but the thing is, is
that it will move as i drive. Sometimes its at 2000rpm. I also have a
real loss of power, and it seems like i have to buy gas every other
hour. I did the computer thing and i get 2142 and 2123, which says
knock sensor and full load switch inside throttle switch. it seems like
it is the knock sensor, is there anyway to check the knock sensor to see
if it is working or not. I disconnected it while the engine was running
but it did not seem to make a difference.
Also on a different note, my fuse keeps on blowing for the clock and
interior light circuit. As soon as i put in a fuse it blows, car on or
not. Does anyone know where i can get a knock sensor for a good price,
or what other cars is it compatible with, there is a u-pull it by me.
