re: windows fogging up was RE: I got a different "bite"



ahhhhhh! I can see clearly now...:)  I had exactly the same thing happen
to me 3 nights ago. outside temp right around freezing, good hot air
coming out of the dash defrost vents but side and back windows fogging
like crazy.  Clearly (no pun intended) the air in the car had lots of
moisture in it and it was condensing on the windows.  My recirculation
flap is....gone...., not as in broken, but as in no longer there because
I removed it this past summer.(vacuum connector was broken, I had that
area of the car apart and it was my solution at the time) So I am
getting fresh air.  But, if the drains are clogged that might explain
the fogging, especially since the big black plastic cover for the blower
motor, etc (under the hood) is severely cracked and allows water and
leaves to get into there.  I will have to check that this weekend.
