Re: S6 Found & police cars
Well if the DMV takes care of any type of liscense suspensions,
revocations there is a little trick a lawyer taught me. If you are ever in
a situation where your liscense is being taken away through the DMV in NY it
is possible to get a new, unmarked liscense. There is a 3 day period of
time before police records of suspensions and revocations get to the DMV and
into the computer. So the day after your liscense has been taken away or
suspended you can go to the DMV and apply for a replacement liscense. It
comes via the mail and doesn't have any markings that a suspended or revoked
liscense will have. I have seen the DWI NYS liscense and it is covered in
red stripes, DWI logos, and suspension dates. Real nasty to hand a liscense
like that to an out of state cop. If you have a seemingly normal liscense
it is very rare for the out of state cop to run a complete background check
and find out the liscense is supended or revoked. Nasty little trick, but I
know 2 people who have done it, one of them drove on a suspended liscense
and got stopped out of state. They got a ticket and that's it. Legal
trickery I guess. Just for your info, I do not condone such behavoirs...
Regards and use this info wisely,
