RE: Heater control and Bently [84 5000]



Same problem on my 86 5KTQ. Here's one thing that I found....

pull out the control head (in the dash, with the buttons and lights) and
unplug it.  Now take a look at the silver contact material on the
control head where you just removed the plug.  On mine, a large portion
of some pins was flaked away and I figure is probably not making good
contact. HTH
