Re: Door Lock Not Working
Hello,
I recently repaired my 1990 Audi 100 which had the same problem. The hardest part was taking the door apart. On 100s you have to loosen the inner door (metal) from the outside part of the door, after partially taking the inner panel off. A really good post titled "Keeper - Lock Link Repair" by Al Powell on Jan 1, 1997 is in the archives. I got all three replacement pieces from Audi (if you read my post of a couple weeks back you'll realize not all Audi dealers are equal. I ended up re-using the lock washer instead of the lock ring replacement.
