U may remember me as TeutonicGT
I'm baack...
...and it's good to see many of the same
names(Avi, Kwattro, Steve Buchholz, Ti Kan, Dan Simoes, Huw Powell, Michael
Sheridan Williams, etc.) I cannot believe all of you are still contributing. I
just wanted to say Hi and let all know my '86 Commemoritive Edition Coupe GT is
still around and doing well. Red leather driver's seat needs some help/Alpine
White exterior needs paint in some areas, but drivetrain is still treating me
well. I have recently replaced a tie rod end and shortly after getting an
alignment I started to get a slight wobble in the steering wheel under
dive(braking or letting off the gas) - I forget if both ends usually go around
the same time? Do you think I need to replace the other. Is this
answerable?...or do I deserve the typical "have it put on a
lift."
Nice to be back!
p.s. Since I've left, Audi's been
on a roll, you think?!!!!! BUT, I test drove a TT several months ago and
no way in hell is it worth $34K more than my paid-for Coupe GT. JMHO.
...So I went out and bought a '98 Suzuki GSX-R 750. Now my Coupe feels REALLLLLY
slow. :-(
