Re: Timing belt interval for V6?
I've seen a couple posts on the 90K interval for the 12vV6 timing belt and
just have to add my $.02.
Don't wait!!!!!!!! The timing belt may be good for 90K, but QList (and
personal) experience shows that the water pump is NOT. Your best bet is to
replace the water pump and timing belt somewhere between 60-70K miles, while
you are in there, you should check the idler pulleys too. If you live in the
northern climes, where salt is used on the road, you will probably want to
replace the idler pulleys too. OH, almost forgot, change the thermostat too.
