Re: 2000 S4

I chose not to get the Alcantara, but I've sat in a car with it. It has a
nice feel, but I don't miss it. It feels very thin, compared to suede. I'd
worry that it would tear easily. I've also heard that it's impossible to
get stains out of.

As for Audi's claim "helps keep you planted during hard cornering," I've
never been in a car with bucket seats of any type where the seatbelt needed
any extra help keeping me planted during hard anything. The S4 is no
exception. That was just a silly marketing blurb, not something to actually
make a decision on.

One thing I'll say about the all-silver interior - it's very "cool" in the
sense that the interior doesn't get hot in the sun. And I have Santorin
exterior - almost as dark as it gets.
