Re: Brake conversion - V8 rear on 5000 QT.



Europe used a different engine with higher boost and static compression.

The US motors have two different hp listings because one is for 87 octane,
the other for 91 (or 92 or 93, not sure). These engine are programmed with
two different boost maps for this. Anything but the "good stuff" and you
automatically go into 87 octane territory.
