track prepared 4kq for sale (Portland, OR)

Hi,

Must sell due to costly home building project:

1986 commemorative addition
white exterior
red leather interior
~120k miles
5 bolt conversion using Audi 5ktq front strut housing/hub assemblies
new Audi 90 quattro front ball joints (larger than those used on the 5ktq!)
new control arm bushings and strut bearings on all 4 corners
new Todd Candy coil over suspension with adjustable konis on all 4 corners
2Bennett right shortened 5kt tie rod
Jamex front strut bar
White Forged Fuchs (as available as options on the urq/tqc and 5ktq cars)
with Pirelli 7000 tires
G60 front calipers with Pagid Blue pads
ATE Superblue
Braided steel front brake lines
new 5kt front rotors
new rear rotors
new fuel filter at 112k miles
new distributor rotor
new trunk shocks
new antenna
new windshield and Bosch wiper blades (11/2/99)
new thermostat
newer Audi middle and rear mufflers (installed at dealership for previous
owner)

This car was a California car and was well taken care of. The handling is
phenominal as tested last weekend at PIR. For the track, coil overs are
the only way to go. For the street, it's a bit noisy, IMHO.

This is an excellent car for Driver Education track days or to tame canyon
roads. The added front track width makes the car incredibly stable at
triple digit speeds. This car is a joy on highway, is very stable and
doesn't display the "twitchiness" cars with coilovers sometimes do. It is
NOT suited, however, for the beat up, potholed roads in Oregon!

Body is straight except for a wrinkle in left rear quarter panel from being
rear ended.

The suspension, front brake pads (show almost no wear after last weekend),
brake disks, tires, etc. have less than
1500 miles on them.

$3500 FIRM as listed; less without wheels/tires and Pagid front pads.

You couldn't build this car for the money!

e-mail me with questions or for more details.

Car is located in Portland, Oregon.

Best Regards,

John Karasaki
