Tire size

Hello.. I have an 86 audi 5000s nonturbo sedan. Anyways, I had 2 michelin
mxv4 tires and 2 aquatreds.. It is time to replace the aquatreds <the
michelins are still rather new>

Anyways, All four current tires are 205/60/14's... When I bought the
MXV4's I did not really confirm the size.. I just assumed that whatever
was on before them was correct and got the same :)

Anyway, My mechanic informed me that I in fact should have 185/70/14's for
the car and that means I need to replace ALL FOUR tires...

Any idea what I should do? Should I get all 4 185/70/14s? Or 2
205/60/14's? Also, If I do replace all four, is there any particular tire
which is recommended for this audi? I have been relatively satisfied with
the michelin energy MXV4's (never hydroplained, good speeds, and I cant
hear them above the rest of the noise my audi makes :)

Thanks much!
ps. A quick answer is appreciated, as I need to decide within the next
couple days.

ps. As a side note, I use my car in 50% in upstate newyork (relatively
little traffic, but very snowy) and 50% in longisland (heavy
traffic/stop&go but moderate/rainy whether)
