ARG. mac-11 code 2113 (x2!!!)

Man-O-Man...
I recently obtained this 87 5kt that won't start. So far I've found/replaced a
broken hall sender wire at the distributor (I renewed the entire distributor),
switched back the mixed-up red/white/black terminals for the knock sensor, ign
timing sensor, & RPM sensor, reset the timing belt which was 1/4 turn off,
replaced a clogged fuel filter, all ignition wires, and a bad fuel pump relay.
STILL won't run.

Somewhere about halfway through the diagnostic process (going on two weeks now),
it went from no spark to really wanting to start (sputtering, even catching, but
not running over 1500 rpm). Spark now at every plug. The no-start codes still
read 2111 (standard for a no-start situation), then 2113, then *2113 again*. I
pulled and reinstalled the distributor per instruction in the Haynes ("insert
with the wire plug at approxamately the three o'clock position , jiggle, and
realign marks in distributor"). It seems there's a couple ways to insert it
that way, where it ends up in two different positions, but makes NO DIFFERENCE
in starting symptoms. I know the 2113 code signifies Hall sender misalignment,
etc. But the thing's in perfect time, the distributor's "new" (out of a
nown-to-be-running before-crashed '87), along with the hall terminal.

What sensor(s) or adjustment can I look into? If the bloody code wasn't there,
I'd chalk it up to clogged injectors or some other fuel-related problem. Any
help would help (duh).

Thanks for you time!
