Todd-tire rubbing and pics of Audis....
Hey Todd -
Nice pics, although I was noting that both the coupe and quattro at the
bottom of the page have significantly more tire clearance than my coupe.
Don't know what they're running for suspension, but my coupe is set with no
tire clearance (coil overs), running 195-55-14's on the street and
205-55-14's on the track, and I've had no problem with rubbing. My car is
also very low. My Q, though, is set a touch higher (though lower than the
one pictured) running Eibachs, with Mille Miglia 15" wheels and 205-55-15's
(which are too large, I am aware, but they were free) and I do have problems
with the rear rubbing. I think that will change with the coil overs and new
tires, as I previously stated, but the car sits even and rubs on one side, a
function of either a slightly bent fender or a slightly bent something else.
In any event, I was offering my opinion, as I've had quite a few tires on my
cars recently :-)
Later!
