Bruce is quite right, the trans are different lengths overall, hence 
different propshafts. The shift linkage is entirely different, emerging from 
diff points on the case. And you're into changing the clutch to 
match....sounds like a major hassle. Add up the cost of the "extra" parts 
needed and you're back at the boneyard(recycling centre) trans price.
