Freeze out plug? That's the only thing I would figure on the pass side of
the engine local ot the starter, unless you have an autobox, in which
case, there may be rubber/steel/rubber/steel lines running nearby. I would
also double check the connections on top of the trans because, in my
experience, I've seen creative plumbing that has deviated from the norm
bring devices in different locations. Point: check the heater shut off
valve it may be over just enough to give that symptom.
