    I remember explicit warnings in my manual about overfilling.  It ruins
the catalytic converter is what it says.  Also saw a tv show about engines
and engine building, on that show they mentioned too much oil creates a
problem with frothing at high rpms.  If these high rpms are sustained for
any period of time the moving crankshaft bits don't get properly lubricated
because of the froth, don't ask me to remember why but it happens I guess.
Over filling was described by a lister before, "Crankshaft acts like a child
splashing around in a kiddy pool."  Oil goes where it ain't supposed to be.
That quote could be a little off, but something to that effect.
