RE: 1990V8 starting and trans question

I haven't had my V8 very long, but I would check the unit that maintains 
pressure in the fuel injection system while the car is off.  This unit 
malfunctioning may be the cause in the delay from the turn of the key to fuel 
making it through the injectors.  List, I think it's the fuel pressure 
regulator (please correct me if I'm wrong.)  Regarding transmission shift 
patterns, in sport mode, it doesn't hit 4th gear until 120mph/~200kph.  You 
probably won't find top gear safely on many US roadways in sport mode, but I 
understand the 3rd/4th gear rush on a track is fantastic!
