RE: Dynaplug - what is it?

If you want just the dynaplugs go to Griots garage. If you want the whole
kit w/ CO2 cartridges, then go to a BMW motorcycle dealer. As a K1000LT
owner, I received one w/ the bike and my understanding is that they are
still standard equipment with all new bikes.

Andrew, Igor and other listers Hi,

I do not know about Dynaplug but BMW used to offer a similar set for
rectifying punctures on tubeless tyres for its motorcycles.
The set consisted of a pointed tool where you were inserting a soft fabric
and sticky elastic straw which in its turn you were inserting in the
puncture hole of the flat tyre.
After the hole was closed the set included two pressurized CO2 tubes (very
much like the air gun pressurized air variety) with a threaded nose.
This threaded nose could be connected to the tyre valve and Presto!! you had
an inflated tyre.

I had used this set up on my Discovery on two occasions and it saved a lot
of time.
Only difference was that I had a bigger air tank ready for the car sized
tyres.

Maybe BMW motorcycle dealers can help you in the States.
