Re: questions: audi 80 4 cylinder
CIS-Motronic does not have a TDC sensor listed in any manuals or
diagrams
I'd recommend Super+ gas, 92 octane or better. I have used regular in
my 80 and performance was off.
Performance increases:
No chips for the system that I can find, and I have searched far and
wide
Throttle body flows very well in stock form, my opinion
The air filter housing can be replaced completely by a Jamex free-flow
filter, see it at Blaufergnugen
The intake for the filter box is small, behind the passenger's headlamp,
and has a warm up flap
Autotech makes a 2.1L engine kit for the 3A engine,
http://www.autotech.com
Afterrnarket VW 8V big valve cylinder heads bolt right up to the block
CIS-Motronic ECU is self-adaptive so there is really no need to modify
it to obtain more fuel flow
Check out my website http://surf.to/the80pages.com and look in the Technical
section for some CIS-Motronic info. Also in the Possibilities section their
is some mods for the engine and intake.
Good Luck!
