Re: V8 rack (200 rack?)
Dave, you beat me to a question I was just going to ask the list. Perhaps
we can both get our needed answers.
The boot was ripped on mine when I bought it. I ordered and received a new
boot for it. A mechanic quoted me only $80 to install it. The rack has no
problems, no noise, no leaks. I'm afraid that replacing the boot will
invite more trouble than it will prevent. The mechanic agrees, as much as
he would like my money, and feels it's not worth replacing just the boot.
List's opinions?
