Did the same to my MC waste gate. Poped the cap off the top of the wastegate
covering the rest of the threads for the spring perch allen bolt. Removed
the allen bolt, got a 12x1.2x50 mm bolt, and some matching nuts, then cut
one of the nuts in half (a little tricky) and tightened each half around the
spring perch after the bolt was threaded though the top of the wastegate.
Now I just turn the WG bolt to adjust spring pre-load. I didn't get any
higher boost from this, it just built up faster, esp. in 2nd and 3rd.
