Yes, the 9004's are still usable, although you'll never go back to them.

As far as wiring, I don't know how exactly to rewire. I used the info from
a site that ended up being wrong. Give a post to the list and someone will
help you. Did for me. I suggest you use the Wagner xenon charged bulbs.
You will have excellent results and still retain side lighting.
