Re: Turbo/wastegate questions - K24, WG Spring etc.



  When I finally get done with my MC swap, I intend on a SJM spring/comp mod
as this appears to be one of the better options.
 Those considered
#1  IA more money, differences?
#2  SJM again differences when compared with IA?
#3   I forget the name but understand it is just a spring and overboost
protection is eliminated.
#4 install stiffer spring and eliminate the FP cutoff myself
 It is my understanding that #3 and #4 are the same except cost?
 Have I missed any?
 I would like to run 2.0 bar or better  but last I checked with SJM all that
was offered was 1.8.
 I do not mind running near the edge of reliability as I have a spare MC but
would like to know what boost levels are considered maximum "safe" for an 89
single knock 10v turbo w/K26?
