Ditto on the door lock

Although I cannot help you on this, I must add that this happened to me as
well, and I have not done anything about it in the 3 or 4 months since it's
happened. Hopefully somebody knows what can be done. One good side: it
has turned me into a gentleman, since everytime I take a girl out I have to
unlock the car from her side, I open the door for her and close it. Perhaps
it is a blessing in disguise.

Subject: Door Lock woes....

It finally happened...after reading about it happening to everyone else, my
drivers' side doorlock finally broke this afternoon. The alarm arms when
the
key turns, but the locks remain up. Can anyone direct me to a website that
can step me through the repair process (interior trim removal included).
I've checked the archive, and found a broken link to a FAQ, and a lot of
commentary on the process, but no step by step process.

I'm saving up to buy the repair manual....

BTW---I find it strange that the vacuum locks are completely odd...it took
me
3 months to realize there is a rhyme and a reason to the lock/unlock/door
selection process...

Thanks!
