We used to make the best cars, TV's (we still do in many cases, you just
don't know it. Philips Magnavox has a huge Picture Tube factory in Tennessee,
all of the production gets shipped to Mexico for assembly. As a result, on
the back of the TV all you get to see is "hecho en Mexico") VCR's- we
invented them, the Japanese made them economical for everyone. We aren't a
manufacturing nation anymore with a few exceptions. But we still are the
greatest Think Tank in the world. More inventions and creative solutions
begin here than anywhere else. America still shows the world How It's Done.
