Guage fitting/diff lock moved on Coupe Q 1985

Hi all

I have now managed to fit the 3 VDO gauges that were on the Coupe GT into where the diff lock/ LED panel is on my '85 Coupe Q. it sure is nice to have an oil pressure gauge and decent instrumentation. I had to install the dual oil pressure/temp sender and find the wiring, which was all there but not connected to anything. Next I had to lengthen the vacuum lines for the diff lock, which took longer than expected, I used a combination of bottle washer tube and central locking tube to acheive this.

The diff lock was moved to the panel where the power window switches are and ended up where the cigar lighter is with a bit of filing, the cigar lighter is now in the middle of the power window switches, all looks pretty factory so far. For diff lock lights my brother in law made up a couple of 3mm LEDS and I placed them just above the headlight switch.

I am really pleased with having the 3 gauges instead of the LED readouts for volts and oil temp. All in all it took me the best part of a day to get everything working and find the wires but well worth it.
