Re: door lock
I had both door locks break within a week. I've replaced one, still have
to find time to do the other. The passenger one was new too - had been
replaced less than 6 months ago, and never used till the driver's side
one broke. DO NOT GET THE STOCK AUDI PARTS - THEY BREAK!
I bought Blau's kit - it's made of some stronger metal, and does not
break.
The only downside was the spring kept coming off, so I ended up removing
it.
Installation was not too bad. You need to remover the inner door/window
frame.
