'87 4Kq for sale in Orlando, FL

My brother, Ken Fluhr (kwfluhr@ibm.net), is selling his 1987 4000 quattro.
The car is red with an unknown amount of mileage on it (he bought it with
the odometer broken at 83K miles), although he estimates it has around
100K-120K miles on it. The engine (2226cc CIS-E KX engine, 115hp) is in
good shape and pulls very strongly, the tranny is fine albeit perhaps a
bit notchy. The clutch, A/C, power steering, brakes, window regulators,
sunroof, door handles, diff locks, etc. all work well. He recently
replaced two wheel bearings on the car. The interior is
mixed grey leather (door panels) and cloth (seats). There is a long
crease on the left front fender panel right above the bumper.

The suspension is, I think, stock. He replaced the rear control arms
with used units from an Audi 90 because of worn bushings...after an
alignment the car tracks perfectly. The car also has a rear anti-roll
bar installed from the front of a Coupe GT (he cut and welded the
brackets to the 4Kq subframe). The car currently has 175/70-14 tires
on the original 14x6 Ronals, and he also has a set of 15x6 Gotti rims
that came from a Brock Yates 4000q that he may include depending on price.

He is asking $3200 for the car. He has done a lot of work on the car
and it is a solid daily driver. He is selling the car because he
wants to get a VW pickup truck.

His email is kwfluhr@ibm.net, and his phone number is (407) 366-5369.
The car is located in Orlando, FL. I can also answer questions about
the car, although I only saw and drove it over Thanksgiving weekend so
I don't know all the details on it.

Later,
Eric
