Coupla years ago, I saw a Jensen Interceptor in an exhibit at the London
Design Museum.
Exhibit was titled "The Automobile and Sex" - I guess the intelligensia
finally caught up with what EVERY male teenager instinctively knows . . .
Anyway, they had a spec sheet for the car, and it said (among other things)
"Vee-six engine". I (politely) mentioned this to someone at the exhibit,
and he immediately went and told the curator, who came and found me
wandering about and informed me that the Jensen Interceptor did indeed have
a vee six cylinder engine, and thank you very much.
Since the hood was open, I invited him to count the spark plug wires.
When he got to seven, his face turned red. He then shut the hood and
stalked off.
I told him that he had a very nice exhibit, and that I was enjoying it
greatly, but he wasn't listening to me any more.
And I got a counterfeit 5 pound note from the taxi driver.
Don't care - I'm still going back!
Best Regards,
Mike Arman
