Purchased Ur S4

As you may recall I recently requested assistance looking for pointers / 
checklist as well as good mechanic in the south shore area (Boston) to look 
over an S4 I was considering.  This post is to let you know that I have added 
a second quattro to the garage :-)  Thanks very much to all who provided 
assistance esp. Brett.  

I ended up taking the car to Excell Auto in Weymouth where Ken Harrington 
looked it over for me.   Between driving and putting the car up on the lift, 
he spent more than  an hour checking it out.  The result: clean bill of 
health.  Ken was very helpful and I would suggest if you're nearby you check 
him out.  There were only two minor mech. issues: torn LF inner control arm 
bushing and front rotors nearing min. thickness.  Bushing will be replaced by 
the selling dealer (Rietzl) Rotors to be replaced under warranty when 
required.  

Overall impression during my first days with the car- a extremely capable 
sedan in a very discrete package (stealth).  Except for those big honkin' 
wheels and tires most people woudn't have a clue.  Very much an iron fist in 
a velvet glove kind of thing.
