Re: how to flare fenders
Baseball bat is a good weapon of choice. Just make sure that it is of the
wooden variety as this will enable the bat to absorb some of the pressure
and helps to avoid popping the paint. It also helps to take a cut-off disc
and cutting a half moon into the first wall of the rear fender. The type
44's are double wall. By cutting the first (inner) wall the outer wall is
more flexible and makes the job much easier. After you are done, cover the
cut metal with silicone sealant to avoid rust. Be willing to take your
time.
