Yeah, as the story progressed, I was thinking, sounds like the tranny is
spinning but its not getting to the wheels.
So stop trying to drive it (more $$$ things to break, btdt til I got
really old...) and place it somewhere gentle and calm. Check for axles
not solidly connecting road wheels to transmission. Consider
possibility of wrecked wheel bearings on whatever wheel suffers this
malady.
If both axles connected solidly to wheels and to tranny flanges, the
cuisinart is the final drive and the marbles used to be your
differential I think.
let's all hope that I am totally wrong and it is minor.
