Alignment
After some unusual wear on the front tires of my V8Q, I replaced them and
then had an alignment done at a local (non dealer) shop. This is the car's
first alignment in the 134+k miles and six years I've had it. It seems to be
handling well (as for that matter it was pre-alignment).
Could somebody please interpret these measurements for me (or refer me to an
on-line explanation)? All numbers are in degrees.
Front:
camber, left -1.2, right -0.9
cross camber, -0.3
caster, left 1.1, right 1.0
cross caster, 0.1
toe, left 0.07, right 0.10
total toe, 0.17
set back, -0.29
Rear:
camber, left -0.8, right -1.1
toe, left -0.05, right 0.01
total toe, -0.04
thrust angle, -0.03
Thanks much,
Dave Nelson
