Re: Youth v the 'Unka Barts'

Scott, thanks for some reflective soul searching on this thread. I think
you may have pinpointed the heat in that whole IC flame. The same way that I
wanted to learn "my own lessons" instead of my parents lessons when I was
younger (now I am much older at 25 ;) is also how I go about many projects
the same way Sachelle did. I have stayed out of this thread all the while,
but if Sachelle's project really does not have a solid foundation...he will
find that out soon enough. No one likes to hear "I told you so," and a
harmless lesson learned is a valuable one in the end. Sure, there is what is
irrefutably and empirically right, and then there is a person with feelings
trying to enjoy and challenge themselves without hurting anyone else.
Sachelle, I am looking forward to seeing your results and what you have
*learned* form this experiment-even though I agree with Scott and others on
some of the more factual matters at stake. I think it is great that you have
the time/enegy/and creative capacity to jump into this project, and because
of that it will have been extremely valuable-despite the temp. of the intake
charge after the intercooler!
Sometimes I wonder what the "requirements" are for a "good thread" here
on the list. Right about the time Sachelle was posting his thoughts on his
Intercooler, there was a thread rambling on about some Dodge Colt NAC!
Frankly, for me, threads like Sachelles (no matter how "unfounded") are
vastly more interesting than some of these other threads that spout up. I
say we let people post as they feel lead. The irony is that there were
likely more posts describing why he should not post so much than what he
posted originally" on topic".

Just enjoying myself in this "dynamic" social environment...with Audis ;)
