Yep. Change the master cylinder. You can buy one from Audi for $$$$ if you
want, or you can buy a lifetime g'teed one from Discount/Pep Boys/etc. for
about $40. Nomex on, but if the OEM part was so great, why are we replacing
them so often? Rebuilding at home doesn't seem to work out too well even
though rebuild kits are available.
3 years on a Discount Auto Parts $40 rebuilt, stops fast, straight, and
true every time. Changed it for the same reason - draggy brakes after a few
miles.
