RE: Latest G-Tech runs

Funny you should mention it. Two nights ago I was driving back home in a
friends car. FWD Dodge colt. DId pretty well. Studded tires. Started
slipping up a hill. So I stopped to see if it would get going
again. (3:00 am, NO one out on this small road) Well, it moved sideways
nicely. I got it going by applying the brake but barely. So I grabbed
the 4ktq and went back.
Heh...Floored it, no wheelspin till the boost came in. Then it
lit them up but man, what a difference. I could barely walk on the stuff
and was getting a 0-60 (never hit 60, to slick) but if I had it would have
been maybe 12 seconds??? Maybe a bit longer but not bad.
BTW...with Hakka's up front and no Namers in back, it REALLY likes
to Power on Oversteer when the boost comes on. Have to be careful i the
corners. :-) (I got the wheels with those tires on. Dont have money
to buy two more.)

I was curious to see what my 87 5kcsq would do 0-60 in with 1.8 bar in the
rain. I recently did a 5.8 in the dry.

I made a few runs and got a 6.19 and 6.20. I was amazed at the
traction. I
did this with 195/65/15 Hakka 10's. I can only think of one car that can
out-do that is the 930 Turbo All Wheel Drive. I cannot believe the power
increase from raising the boost! I am going to try it in the snow as soon
as I get a chance. The snow is a bit late this year in ME. I predict an
8.5 on a snow covered road!?
