It's almost CERTAINLY your cable. But you don't necessarily need a new
one. Try to just adjust the position of it-- pull on it slightly, and
change the bend a little by leaning it in different spots against the brake
fluid reservoir etc. You'll find the best place for it eventually.. (where
the speedo needle doesn't bounce). I wish they weren't so picky, but they
are....
