Not true IME, The first Blizzaks (DK the designation) went pretty well at
twice the above speed on the rear of a Porsche 944 on dry, somewhat slower
on wet, snowy, and icy roads for 2 winters. Still have the same 2 on the
front of a New Beetle (225/50X16) and - good grip is there.

Agreed re.: Guardex 600, have them on a '90 90 Q for 2 winters with little wear.
