Yeah.  I was thinking (as I always do) of the MB's engine bay.  It's an
absolute _SOD_ in there.  A major advance last year was the purchase of
a FACOM 17mm semi-deep 3/8" drive socket to deal with the bottom rear
turbo to downpipe nut.  In the past, the sheer inaccessibility of this
one nut has forced me to take the head/manifold/turbo assembly off and
to the bench.  That's a ten-hour job on an MB.  You just can't get any
1/2" 17mm socket I've ever seen on to this nut and drive it.  I've even
broken a 1/2" drive universal joint on it before.

The Type 44 (MC-2) is a _LOT_ easier - you can actually get fingers
between the downpipe and the manifold at that point.  I haven't been
down there in earnest yet, but it looks as if just about any socket
would go on.  Air to spare.
