Re: fuel pump brand
As a shop owner, I avoid the non OE fuel pump like the plague. As a
rule, they don't fit without some kind of adapter, they may not have the
right flow rate, and the pressure may not be correct. Some pull too much
amperage and eat the relay, wiring, or connectors. Some pulse the system
and cause problems. Over the years, I've pulled literally dozens of
aftermarket pumps from poorly performing cars. Other specialty shop
owners in my area feel the same way. HTH, John
